I have been a nurse since 2005 and a nurse practitioner since 2014. I have a passion to mentor experienced nurses, new graduate nurses, and new graduate nurse practitioners by helping them to obtain the knowledge needed to successfully transition into the medical workforce. My mission is to provide the mentorship needed to bedside nurses and nurse practitioners to positively impact the nursing profession by helping to close the gap between knowledge deficit and implementation into nursing practice. My drive to achieve this goal primarily stems from being overlooked, undermined, and undervalued as both a nurse and a nurse practitioner. My trials, tribulations, and failures have helped me to become the extraordinary, resilient, and skillful nurse practitioner I am today. I believe this is my God-given purpose and I will use the knowledge and skill-sets I have diligently obtained over the years to become the pioneer and innovator behind transitioning nurses from task-oriented to critical-thinkers and nurse practitioners into successful leadership roles.
